I joined the August RRR after months of deliberation, unsure of the upfront costs. I am annoyed I didn’t take the plunge sooner – 200% worth it! If you are undecided, I can assure you this is not a money making gimmick; Dominique provides so many easy to follow resources and recipes developed from years of research evidence and gives her heart and soul to ensuring all members feel confident to make the plan fit their individual circumstances. She really does care and is just inspiring.
I have spent nearly 40 years on various weight loss diets that work short term, but as soon as I stopped the weight crept back. I thought I was well informed about what not to eat, but I have learned so much from Dominique in such a short space of time. I can apply her principles for the rest of my life because I now UNDERSTAND the science behind them rather than just blindly following a plan. No, I haven’t lost weight as quickly (7lbs in 28 days) but this is far better – I feel so positive that I am finally nourishing my body rather than my restrictive/denial type diet behaviour and critical self-talk, my blood pressure has come down to normal, I am not hungry mid morning and mid afternoon, I am not craving wine as a pick me up after work and I am choosing the right combination of healthy foods because I want to rather than because I have to. My % body fat has reduced and muscle mass increased with no additional exercise other than walking the dog.
The zoom calls are really supportive and great to listen back to if you can’t attend in person and the Facebook group is another source of information and support. I finally feel free of the negative and punitive diet mentality which at 54 is so empowering. Thank you Dominique for enabling your expertise and programme to reach so many people 💕
I have been following the programme for 5 weeks now. You explain things so well that I have a greater understanding of what we eat, why we eat and the effect the food groups have on our bodies.
The programme has been transformational for me. Although I did not have a lot of weight to lose (I have followed it for the health benefits), I have lost five pounds but I truly feel amazing! I sleep so much better and the bloating has gone. I love the recipes you have devised and do not struggle to maintain the fasting between meals. It just works and makes so much sense! I have tried to lose weight over 10 years without any success and now with this new lifestyle program I have lost 10 kilos in only 2 months!!!
I was quite sceptical about the course and didn’t think it would make much of a difference, but I had just turned 40 and had kind of hit rock bottom and was desperate, so I signed up. And I’m relieved to say that it was 100% worth it. The format of the programme really worked for me – with the combination of detailed handouts, easy recipes, approachable weekly Zoom calls and the support of a friendly Facebook group. In 28 days I’ve managed to lose over 11lbs, the dermatitis on my hands has completely gone, the swelling in my knuckles has reduced and I’m a lot less anxious. But more importantly I’m so much more confident around food. I’ve gone from being a prolific junk food eater who was constantly grazing and didn’t like cooking, to someone that enjoys nutritious food, doesn’t snack between meals and will happily prepare three homemade meals from scratch every day. I’m like a new person! I feel like I’ve got myself back and the confidence has spilled over into other areas of my life – I’m finally tackling tasks that I’ve been putting off for ages. I can’t thank you enough and I would recommend it to anyone.
I completed the RRR 28 day programme at the end of September and I just know this will be with me for life. I am a total foodie and just adore Dominique’s food and all her recipes. I was a constant snacker, mid 40’s and thought of food morning, noon and night. This RRR has been a wonderful experience for me . Finally feel satiated. Weight slowly coming down. And when i slightly fell off the wagon for one day straight after the programme owing to a party it crystallised the feeling that this programme is for me for I felt awful eating all the carbs and the minute I regrouped and started again my body said a big thank you.
