Intermittent Fasting

Renew Reset Recharge uses elements of Intermittent Fasting. This will be matched to you and your body and health. This does not mean that you need to feel hungry or deprived – in fact this could not be farther from the truth! Renew reset Recharge is about abundance of food choice and delicious food. 

The benefits of intermittent fasting or time restricted eating have been receiving a lot of press recently the phenomena is not new. Our ancestral hunter-gatherers were only too familiar with feast and famine. Fasting in today’s world, does not have to mean avoiding all food. It simply means leaving gaps or times in the day where we are not digesting food. 

When the body is not digesting food it can go into its natural fat-burning state and has more time for essential bodily functions or ‘housekeeping’.

How does this work?

The benefits of intermittent fasting occur when we leave a gap of at least 12 hours at night when we are not eating food.  Some people benefit from leaving even longer gaps of 14 or even 16 hours where they fast each day. This is of course, optional, but available to those who feel they would benefit from this approach.  Renew Reset Recharge can be based on 2 or 3 meals a day.
