Puy Lentil and Beef Chilli

Using lentils in a chilli has many benefits. Firstly it makes the meat go further, so that a little goes a long way and secondly it add nutrient diversity and fibre to the dish. Nutrient diversity means we get a wider range of nutrients in the dish that our body will thanks us for. The beans in the chilli along with the lentils provide valuable fibre for the gut microbes and make the dish even more filling.
