Slow Pan-Fried Spiced Chicken with Vegetables
This is a simple, but very reliable way to cook chicken so it stays tender and juicy. Lightly flattening the fillets and cooking them slowly with a lid on allows steam to build, preventing the meat from drying out. It is a method worth mastering, as it transforms an everyday ingredient into something far more enjoyable. Served with plenty of vegetables, this makes a balanced, satisfying meal. If you would like carbs with this meal, go to my Miso beans with Shiitake recipe. This photo is also the perfect example of the balanced plate! Enjoy with or without the miso beans, depending on whether you are having carbs with this meal or not.
