Bolognese with Courgetti Pasta

Bolognese is normally accompanied with pasta. Many people ask me why I don’t put pasta on the programme. The reason is that it is a higher, mostly refined carbohydrate that can soike blood sugars.

 Of course you can use red lentil, green pea or even yellow pea pasta on the programme, but this becomes the protein at your meals with a vegetable based sauce. Once you have reached your health goals you are welcome to add these pastas back again into your diet with any pasta sauce.
