Outnumbered Chocolate, Pecan and Granola Bowl
I call this outnumbered because I have outnumbered the oats by 3: 1 with seeds and nuts. I like to think of granola as a topping and not the main star of the show. In the same way you wouldn't just eat a potato or a bowl of rice on its own, we need to pair oats (which are higher carb) with protein and fibre rich foods to balance the meal. For Renew Reset Recharge®, a 30g serving is sufficient. For weight maintenance you can increase the yogurt to 200g and the granola to 40g. This will boost the nutrition to my Triple 30 Principles.
Adding in the cacao nibs adds in a powerful amount of polyphenols (antioxidants), as well as good amounts of magnesium, iron, potassium, manganese and zinc. They are also high in fibre which supports our beneficial gut bacteria.
