It was liberating to ditch the calorie counter in my brain and enjoy combining new ingredients into fun and colorful meals.
Over the last year I had lost weight using intermittent fasting, but as I go closer to my goal it wasn’t working for me, I had slow weight loss (some muscle lose) and massive sugar cravings. Dominique advised me to not fast after 10.30 in the morning and to eat 3 filling meals per day. Following that advise I started to build my meals around the principles of the program, this was a game changer for me as I previously hadn’t eaten enough of the right nutrients and had become bored with food, now I am making lovely food which is colourful, easy to make and nutritious, recipes like the cauliflower tabbulah are always in my fridge. Dominique is right this program gives you food freedom (I feel comfortable around meals now) scientific knowledge (I learned a lot). I also realised that weight loss is more about the body having the nutrients and the body finding balance, also as I am now 64 years old health physical function is important. Also have high cholesterol and will be having a retest in February to see if I have improved my levels. Thank you for the program, I have just purchased your book and the Triple 30 programme.
RRR has really helped me to look at food in a different way that has had the great benefit of making me feel much better in my body – less bloated, less lethargic and losing the excess weight I’m carrying. I have slept better and where I have suffered from Reflux all my life, on this plan I haven’t had any episodes. I have received complements on how much better my skin looks also, and all this in just 4 weeks. I find the regular drip feed of information easy to digest and apply and it’s this education that has made it easier to adapt my own recipes or adjust what I chose when I’m not able to make my own food which should make this all the more sustainable. I lost 4.5kg in 4 weeks by eating a lot of gorgeous food and not being hungry. I couldn’t believe it. The program is simple and it only took me around 3 days to become confident and start to really roll with it. The zoom calls are brilliant. All your questions are answered by Dominique and if there is any personalization needed, she can help. It’s also good to lean on the Facebook community when you need. In general, you really get a lot of support. This is everything you want in a weight loss program. I will continue eating by the principles for the most part, because I felt great on the program.
