While I thought I had very strong knowledge of nutrition, I was pretty stumped in my early 50s to get a handle on how to eat, feel good, and look the way I was used to. I loved Dominique’s science based approach, which was packed with great recipes supporting a simplified plan for eating. The whole foods focus also supported my digestive health, which is a priority as I am very careful because I have ulcerative colitis. I am very thankful to Dominique for the Renew, Reset, Recharge program and I look forward to continuing to follow her guidance.
I have really enjoyed this course. At the end of four weeks, I feel healthier, sleep better, less bloating, more energy, less inflammation, my nails are strong for the first time I can ever remember and I have dropped down over 3 kilos without even trying. I joined RRR as someone who wanted to re-educate my way of eating rather than for weight loss. I do a lot of exercise and had slipped into a bad routine of inadequate fuelling and unhealthy snacking to combat the sugar lows. RRR has been transformative in educating me in the science behind eating three meals a day, eating protein at every meal and not saving up the big meal for dinner but respecting each meal equally. Dominique is like the female equivalent of Michael Mosley in my opinion – she doesn’t preach, she doesn’t overwhelm with science and it feels like she’s the nutrition friend you didn’t know you had (or previously needed)
I have been following the programme for 5 weeks now. You explain things so well that I have a greater understanding of what we eat, why we eat and the effect the food groups have on our bodies.
The programme has been transformational for me. Although I did not have a lot of weight to lose (I have followed it for the health benefits), I have lost five pounds but I truly feel amazing! I stumbled across Dominique on IG. I liked her relaxed but informative approach and found her Reels inspiring. They really resonated with me.
Although post menopausal and having thought I had sailed through the menopause unnoticed, two years ago I was blindsided by an avalanche of menopausal symptoms. Despite maintaining a predominantly plant-based and healthy diet, I felt fatigued, with various aches and pains, low in mood and generally lack lustre. Although I wasn’t specifically overly worried about my weight I had also put on a few pounds that I felt affected my movement as a Pilates teacher. I attributed all of this to the menopause and adjusting to and finding the right balance with my HRT.
Inspired by Dominique’s Reels I initially joined RRR seeking a reset, as I felt nutrition was the one thing I hadn’t looked in to closely enough, and may be the key to getting back to feeling like ‘me’ again.
Thanks to Dominique’s RRR programme, I now realise the way I felt wasn’t solely down to the menopause but that I wasn’t fuelling myself sufficiently, and simply not eating enough, and specifically not enough protein despite including lentils, beans etc. in my diet. I initially found the portion sizes a little daunting as I’d never eaten so much, but soon adjusted and I love the recipes. Her recipes are delicious, easy to adapt and filling. Whereas before I would regularly be reaching for a handful of nuts between meals, I haven’t missed snacking at all.
After just 10 days I felt a significant positive shift in many ways, I was sleeping better, I felt energised and my mood had lifted, I had also lost 4-5lbs which was a bonus.
On RRR Dominique provides a vast amount of information which I enjoyed digesting as much as the food. I also enjoyed the live zoom calls as they were a great way of learning more from others experiences, and I loved how Dominique was available to us to ask specific questions. I found it invaluable.
I’m immensely grateful to Dominique for educating and inspiring me, and giving me the tools to take this forward as a way of life way beyond the programme. I feel RRR has been life-changing for me.
