Dominique shares her advice on the benefits of eating more protein

‘If I could tell women who are 50+ one thing, it would be to eat protein with every meal.
Getting enough protein can be transformative – many women I see in clinic find it boosts their
mood, energy and general health. It also helps with weight maintenance, as protein sustains
you for longer, meaning you snack less. Cereal and toast don’t
cut it in the morning – instead, go for Greek yogurt with chia seeds and berries. I recommend
eating 25-30g of protein per meal (a palm-size portion). Then make half your plate veg,
a quarter carbohydrates, and add some healthy fat.’
